It was a disagreement over a bag - he was a real jobsworth but, given that he was a serious kremlin guard, I guess backing off was the best plan.

St Louis - I've seen your photos. I had to lie down just thinking about it. I love America but when you build you build a little TOO big. Mind you, the same can be said for Hong Kong I guess - and I love that place. I've not ventured up any of the skyscrapers though.

You're too kind about the photography. The ones posted are the best of hundreds. I still need to go out there with my camera. Until then I may raid Mrs PM's collection (though I will give her credit of course).

Flirting and Libra? Possibly. But as I've said before, I don't have all Libran traits (though Mrs PM disagrees).

Procrastination - I need to start taking photos and need to start my novel and a non fiction book of rants. Maybe tomorrow...

Grapefruit is divine - and much maligned.

I've noticed your site is still down. Tell them to get it sorted out :-)

Cheers

DavePlastic Mancunianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01864213919913476168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-918055453208141852009-02-16T03:17:00.000+00:002009-02-16T03:17:00.000+00:00Hi PM.First, a big congratulations on your 100th p...Hi PM.

First, a big congratulations on your 100th post! And they're always fun and informative too.

I, too, find these things about others interesting...just nosey I think. I like Pia K's idea so I'll do a bit of the same...

3 7 37 44 48 49 52 62 63 67 69 79 81 91 Holy cow, me too!
13. You can't leave us hanging on this one---need a post!
14. Very cool, along with all your other travels!
16. If you're ever in St. Louis you had better go up in the Arch!
19. That's so nice...uh, your boys, not the divorce...
31. Yay!!
34. Awww...
35. I think you are waaay past amateur, PM.
46. Agree, although I'm also addicted to American Idol and Hell's Kitchen....this upcoming Apprentice should be a doozy.
47. PM and Pia K...get in line
63. They don't believe you because of #83??
71. Wow, that is cool!
82. #17 says otherwise...
86. You might be the only one on Earth who makes this claim.
88. No doubt...
100. Hi Dave!

Excellent post, PM. My site is still down (aaargh!) so I had plenty of time to play over here (yay!).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-81507973216783645272009-02-15T16:34:00.000+00:002009-02-15T16:34:00.000+00:00Wow - thanks for a great comment Pia.I won't comme...Wow - thanks for a great comment Pia.

I won't comment on your comment too much but will just say ...

One of the things I regret most is not pursuing languages after school. I am desperately rusty on French and German, a fact highlighted by recent trips to Switzerland and France.

We had a dog and cat when I was a kid. They got on fabulously.

The koala was weird and it didn't smell very nice. But it clung to me like a baby, which Mrs PM found remarkably cute.

As I have said to you before, I will definitely visit Scandanavia some time in the next few years. After all, its on our doorstep.

:-)

Cheers

PMPlastic Mancunianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01864213919913476168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-87947395909074315972009-02-15T15:39:00.000+00:002009-02-15T15:39:00.000+00:00I really enjoy these "random things about me" post...I really enjoy these "random things about me" posts, and for some odd reason I often feel I have to give my personal view on some of the facts mentioned, so here goes -
26. Latin rocks! It hasn't died, it has only changed shape and thrives in other languages.
31. I have cats. And a dog. They kind of co-exist reasonably well. I still consider myself a definite cat person - although I do love most animals, that doesn't mean I need to share house with them all.
34. I'm envious beyond words! It's one of my life dreams.
40. He's great! And he seems so very likeable too.
46. Yes, I'm secretly hooked on the UK-version.
47. I object.
59. With extremely few exceptions, I agree.
60. Scandinavia rocks, or at least do Stockholm and Copenhagen!
66. I can. But very rarely do.
68. Me too. So much.
69. Thumbs up!
70. Oh so would I be. So am I...
71. Sounds wonderful.
81. Isn't that the best?!
91. Hear, hear!

And congrats to your 100-post and many more!Pia Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16519694952785489099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-12940192322050633362009-02-15T14:26:00.000+00:002009-02-15T14:26:00.000+00:00Is that you Chris?I am guessing it is.In a way you...Is that you Chris?

I am guessing it is.

In a way you are right.
