The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and fills the plate. Satisfies even the males in our family, and they are all big eaters.
I've heard about places that serve a sprinkling of food on a table sized plate, I always make sure I write down the name of the place, so I can avoid going there.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-71529760434484146372009-10-13T07:45:20.516+01:002009-10-13T07:45:20.516+01:00Hi Kath,

From now on, I think research is the key.

Cheers

PMPlastic Mancunianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01864213919913476168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-3154202368786900782009-10-13T07:41:40.921+01:002009-10-13T07:41:40.921+01:00Hi BK,

This kind of food is like modern art to me - I don't understand how they can get away with it. There are plenty of restaurants serving good quality food (the same quality) in reasnable amounts. I feel ripped off - and I hate being ripped off.

:0)

Cheers

PMPlastic Mancunianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01864213919913476168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-3059231329604570922009-10-13T02:41:23.803+01:002009-10-13T02:41:23.803+01:00We did the posh experience for Love Chunks' bi...We did the posh experience for Love Chunks' birthday a few weeks ago, but ONCE A YEAR is enough. I'm grateful we live a minute's walk from our local shopping strip that has some of the best Thai, Italian, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Chinese food on offer for around $10 a bowl.Kath Locketthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09677312773827236567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-20677953456136437532009-10-13T01:44:26.279+01:002009-10-13T01:44:26.279+01:00I wouldn't dare to say I understood you fully....I wouldn't dare to say I understood you fully. I had been through similar situations where I had meals in restaurant with foods that filled only one corner of my stomach. And after that, I just had to go somewhere else for something else. As much as I may appreciate the presentation of food, the amount and the quality matter much more. The amount will be the priority especially when I am very hungry.BKhttp://www.symphonyoflove.net/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-2146479060040544712009-10-12T22:19:26.708+01:002009-10-12T22:19:26.708+01:00Hi Dorothy,

I also have 2 kids that have worked in restaurants when they were in high school and they made me aware of what goes on behind closed doors...and that was enough to turn me totally off any food preparation I could not be a part of or do myself.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03515108852664219576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-91740623325301893762009-10-12T22:14:59.031+01:002009-10-12T22:14:59.031+01:00This is just the sort of place I really hate - tha...This is just the sort of place I really hate - thank goodness for living near really good Indian, Japanese and Thai places that are inexpensive.

I also hate seeing that sort of thing on cooking shows too - espeically when they stack little bits of things in the middle of a plate and then draw things on the plate with sauce.Lidianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609618027313982020noreply@blogger.com
