Since the 31 days began, you've listed so many bands and individuals I never heard of. That could be because I'm in an older age bracket, but also because much different music was played on Aussie radio. I remember a fair bit of English stuff, but mostly bands like Herman's Hermits, Gerry and the Pacemakers, even Cliff Richard. In between all the yankee stuff. Then there was the Beatles too.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-44476674049891864022012-01-30T10:07:01.393+00:002012-01-30T10:07:01.393+00:00This reminds me of a day spent with my mum and you...This reminds me of a day spent with my mum and younger brother one summer, mum had a new record player and we took turns playing a favourite record. Classical for mum, boppy pop for me and not quite heavy rock for my brother. Surprisingly, we all liked all of the music.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-34375954700147948982012-01-30T06:14:18.092+00:002012-01-30T06:14:18.092+00:00Sounds like you two have made a good compromise an...Sounds like you two have made a good compromise and I'm sure you look at bits and pieces of your house and certain songs come back to you.....?

If it's any consolation, maybe Mrs PM blurts out a bit of Dream Theater when she's rummaging through the oranges at the shops. :)Kath Locketthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09677312773827236567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4170913783015287649.post-7806819512583019722012-01-30T00:04:40.759+00:002012-01-30T00:04:40.759+00:00I am sure she does. I guess it means that we are indeed never to old to learn - even if said learning is done kicking and screaming.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.com
